Japanese and Korean for Kids and Teens ? UP Department of ...

The Japanese and Korean for Kids and Teens Extramural Classes are offered this summer by the UP Department of Linguistics for kids and teens (ages 8 to 15) to learn Japanese or Korean while having fun. The classes cover the basics of the language (reading and writing of Japanese / Korean characters, greetings, self-introduction, basic sentence patterns) and provides a cultural aspect to learning the language.

The classes will meet on weekdays (Monday ? Friday) from May 7 to 18, 2012 at 1:00pm ? 4:00pm at Palma Hall, University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City. Room assignment will be e-mailed upon completion of registration (i.e. submission of an accomplished registration form and a copy of the UP official receipt).

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS:

2. Pay the registration fee of Php 3,500 at the UP Diliman Cash Office (located beside PNB, near the UP Diliman Shopping Center).

3. Fax / e-mail a clear copy of the UP Official Receipt at 926 9887 or lingg@kssp.upd.edu.ph.

4. Wait for a verification e-mail for your slot confirmation and room assignment.

5. Bring writing materials and your original UP Official Receipt on your first day of class on May 7 (1-4pm).
